Cornwall wedding venues

Hi, I’m Warren a Cornwall wedding photographer working in a documentary style, this means that I will spend the whole day with you from getting ready in the morning right through to the last dance. I focus on capturing the special moments and the many emotions of the day with only a few posed shots. As you can see below I like to work creatively with light to capture the essence of your day, all the laughter and fun, the beautiful details as well as the intimate moments.

Wedding venues in Cornwall

I have created this page to guide you through some of my favourite Cornwall wedding venues and to give you an introduction to my work. If you are interested in seeing more of my photography or contacting me to discuss your wedding plans there are links to my website, portfolio, and contact form at the bottom of this page.

Polhawn Fort

Situated on the outermost flank of a cliff, Polhawn Fort is a jaw-dropping Cornwall wedding venue on a hill with beautiful grounds and out of this world views in every direction. Easily reached from Devon and the West Country, the Fort offers idyllic views across the Atlantic Ocean, as well as spectacular scenes across the Rame Peninsula, a designated area of natural beauty and the rest of the South Coast. Tucked into the edge of the Rame Peninsula, this stunning fawn-colored Napoleonic Fort sits in the midst of a wild idyll field with lush green expanses of coastal grasslands, woodlands, coves, and golden sands. With its endless green lawns and fragrant wildflowers stretching in front, as well as its own drawbridge entrance, this is a unique Cornwall wedding venue like no other. All of this comes complete with your own private beach below – Polhawn Cove, exclusively available along with the venue, to you and your wedding guests. For your wedding ceremony, the Fort’s spectacular 80 foot long Grand Napoleonic Hall is guaranteed to impress with room for 120. Descend the granite spiral staircase to enter the Grand Napoleonic Hall with its four original cannon archways, vaulted ceiling, and huge windows with sea views. Alternatively, if you want to drink in the views whilst you wed, an outdoor ceremony in the exquisite open-air Summerhouse will be ideal. If you are planning a more intimate celebration, the Fort’s divine Emperor’s Room with room for 30, will be a perfect fit. Popular as a Cornwall Winter wedding venue too, during the months from December to March, the Fort is transformed into a warm spectacular hideaway with huge log fires and striking views illuminated by romantic candlelit spaces. For those who want to stay the night, there is room for 24 in the Fort’s gorgeous sea view rooms. From post-ceremony fun on the beach to the opportunity to have your wedding space decorated exactly as you want it, award-winning Polhawn’s experienced staff are passionate about ensuring that your wedding day is a completely bespoke and personalized day.

Lusty Glaze

Hidden by a semi-circle of beautiful jagged grey cliffs, Lusty Glaze is a divine beach wedding venue in Cornwall. Located on the outskirts of Newquay, with crystal blue waters top with a white froth and gleaming golden sands, Lusty Glaze looks like a gorgeous private cove somewhere deep in the Mediterranean. But it’s not, it is right here in the UK, tucked away on the tip of the North Cornish Coast, perfect for endless views across the Atlantic Ocean from our own private beach venue. This idyllic cove in Cornwall is the ideal wedding venue for an outdoor beach or Bohemian wedding, in fact, it is the only wedding venue in Cornwall where you can actually get married on the beach. This stunning beach setting can be the private venue for your heavenly beach wedding and reception. Lusty Glaze comes complete with its own experienced team of staff to make all of your wedding plans come to life with the addition of a gorgeous beach cottage to prolong your Coastal fun for another day. Whether you want a beach location for a civil wedding, a full day beach wedding, or a relaxed Bohemian wedding on the beach, this sublime location on the edge of Newquay in Cornwall would be hard to beat anywhere in the South West of England.

Cornwall wedding photographer

You will put so much time into organising your wedding you need a Cornwall wedding photographer that will work just as hard to capture all the moments that matter. As you can see from my portfolio I observe what is happening and document it using natural light where possible to create beautiful, emotive photographs. We can arrange a time for portraits in the evening but apart from that I just capture the wedding exactly how it happens. It does not matter how big or small your wedding will be or where it is, I would just love to be there. If you like my style as a documentary wedding photographer and you feel a connection with my work then please get in contact using the online form below.
